The Golden Age of Children’s Literature

In groups of 3, students must present to the class biographical information on a Golden Age author, as well as historical context for the text. Each group must contribute at least 5 academic texts to a shared course bibliography.
Assignment Sheet and Grade Rubric for Research Topic Proposal
300 words – Students must propose a topic or course of inquiry for their final research papers.
Lit4334_Assignment Research Paper
3000 words – Students must write an original research paper on the topic of their choosing, using at least 6 academic sources and addressing one of the themes or texts discussed in class.
The Golden Age of Children’s Literature
Course Blog. Students write weekly blog posts in response to prompts and class readings, or respond to peer’s posts.
